|Tanhouse Farm Holiday Cottages are only a five minute walk away from the banks of the Severn Estuary, with its stunning walks and breathtaking sunsets. Coarse fishing is available in Frampton on Severn on various canels and lakes. Trout fishing may be available (100 yds from the cottages) ring for details. Cycle Hire, Snooker and Clay Pigeon shooting can also be arranged on the premises.
The village of Frampton on Severn reputedly boasts the longest village green in England, on one side is the Manor House where Fair Rosamund Clifford was born (hence Rosamund Green). She became, in about 1160, mistress to King Henry 11 of Anjou, this being the gossip of all England she became a legend before passing away in 1176.

The Cottage has an abundance of exposed beams and furnished with traitional oak furniture, including a wonderful oak panelled four-poster bed in the master bedroom. Hot water and central heating are oil-fired. The main entrance leads into an open plan Kitchen and Dining area.
The cottage has its own undercover parking and private garden with garden furniture and BBQ facilities.

The Malthouse as the name suggests was used from about 1850 for the malting of barley for the local breweries. Some evidence remains that a building already stood on the site that was extended, raised and converted to enable malt to be produced. The building contains some striking architectural features that have been preserved giving the building immense character. Glass viewing panels have been incorporated to reveal some of the features, which could have been lost in a less sympathetic conversion, with the use of stunning pieces of quality furnishings we hope this property will surpass all of your expectations.

The Front Door leads into the Entrance Hall, Ground floor-Master Bedroom – gargantuan sleigh bed, plush carpet and stunning pieces of burr oak furniture. Bathroom – the original Malthouse kiln room many striking features are retained. Large shower, double slipper bath, wash hand basin, WC and shaver point.

Stairs rise further to access open plan lounge and dining on a solid ash floor, with kitchen and annex to entertainment suite. Lounge - Sofas and chairs to seat approx eight, with LCD TV and DVD recorder, wood burning stove, coffee and occasional tables. Views across to the River Severn and Gloucester/Sharpness Canal. Dining - large oval oak table seating up to twelve.
